Cancer Wellness Centre Melbourne

Welcome to NIIM Integrative Cancer Wellness Centre in Melbourne

At the NIIM, we offer a compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based approach to cancer care and healing for all our patients.

Our cancer wellness centre in Melbourne is dedicated to supporting patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.

We do this by combining leading complementary therapies with conventional care to support your overall wellbeing, improve treatment outcomes and help reduce the challenges and side effects of cancer treatment for you and your loved ones.

Our Approach

Our expert team can work collaboratively with your existing oncology team, tailoring a personalised care plan to support you holistically.

The goal of integrative medicine is to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms, to help the body engage its own healing systems.

We integrate approaches such as education, mind-body practices, nutritional supplements, dietary changes, psychological support, lifestyle modifications and wellness services to support resilience, alleviate symptoms and support healing. It can also help you deal with a variety of symptoms, including fatigue, nausea and pain.

Our health services support people at all stages of cancer in a warm, understanding

Our Services

We offer a range of research and evidence-based complementary therapies to support people living with cancer. These therapies may be used in conjunction with traditional cancer regimens, and our medical and allied health practitioners can work alongside your Medical Oncology team and carers.

Holistic treatment plans designed to support the body’s natural defences and complement traditional oncology.

Naturopathy is a holistic healing system that works on the premise that our bodies have an inherent ability to heal themselves.

We offer personalised dietary guidance to all our patients that can help them reduce their symptoms and fortify their immune systems with as many nutrients as possible, as well as prescription-only herbal medicines.

Traditional Chinese medicine is based on the concept of balancing opposing energies and has been used for over 2,000 years to diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses.

We have dedicated Chinese Medicine Doctors onsite who can aid you with the management of stress, pain, nausea and vomiting.

When you receive cancer care, it is understandable that you go through a range of emotions you might find difficult to process.

Our psychology support services are designed to help you stay strong in the present moment and maintain a more relaxed state through your journey.

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian therapy that focuses on life choices, diet, energetics, herbs, and therapeutic techniques to help achieve optimal balance and health.

Our team can develop programs to support your health that are customised to your unique Ayurvedic mind-body type.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment that involves patients breathing 100% oxygen inside a pressurised chamber.

This practice increases the amount of oxygen delivered to the body’s tissues and can support the repair of cells and tissues.

Our medical centre has a team of doctors and highly qualified nurses who operate our IV Clinic.

They can administer high-quality intravenous vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin C, Zinc, Iron, Magnesium, and B Vitamins, to support your wellbeing.

This study involves monitoring treatment effect of photo-dynamic therapy using a lightbed and photosensitiser in cancer patients by Circulating Tumour Cell (CTC) analysis.

Electro-Magnetic-Frequency Therapy (EMF) uses low frequency waves (<25×106 Hz) – lower than those emitted by mobile phones (1×108 Hz) – for the treatment of cancer and/or pathogens.
