Background
Dr Amir Nekoee (aka PRPDOC) graduated from Melbourne University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).
His formal postgraduate studies include a fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (A4M), as well as multiple courses on prolotherapy and other injectables, in Australia and oversees.
Dr Amir’s main expertise lie in the areas of sports medicine, musculoskeletal medicine as well as general practice, focusing on preventative medicine. He is one of the early adopters of the use of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Prolotherapy in the clinical setting for accelerating repair of injuries as well as prolonging the lifespan of osteoarthritic joints.
It was 14 years ago that Dr Amir performed his first PRP treatment for a patient.
Amir’s main hobby is learning, practicing and teaching medicine.
