About Us
Based in Hawthorn, Melbourne, the NIIM Clinic brings together Integrative General Practitioners, Medical Specialists and Allied Health Professionals to help patients on their healthcare journey. At a community level we provide health education and research to advance the understanding and value of integrative medicine, to promote health literacy, early intervention and improved disease management at a population level.
About the Role
This part time position is a hands-on role to deliver and coordinate the group programs within the Centre for Integrative Mental Health. We are looking for someone who understands the approach needed to develop and deliver mental health programs that take a holistic view of the person. Our programs are designed to promote good mental health through an integrative care model and lifestyle modifications.
There is the opportunity for private practice rights to work with patients individually.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in mental health service provision
- Ability to deliver group therapy, psycho-social and psycho-education programs in a non-acute outpatient setting.
- Understanding or appreciation of holistic mental health models including lifestyle factors.
- Ability to coordinate other professionals to provide mental health programs to a high standard.
- Ability to source resources for the group therapy programs
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and the ability to work independently.
- Computer literacy across a range of relevant applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Qualifications:
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications: Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Counselling, Certified Health Coach or equivalent with significant experience in delivery of mental health group programs.
