Clare Pyers

Cert Adv Clin Prac – China
Clare studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at Victoria University, and furthered her studies at a Chinese Medicine hospital in China. Clare has established a busy practice in Richmond that focuses on difficult cases, including male and female infertility, endocrine disorders and autoimmune conditions. Combining Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic techniques such as pulse and tongue diagnosis and abdominal palpation with her unique knowledge of interpreting medical pathology test results enables Clare to ensure a comprehensive treatment program is established for each patient. Where relevant, she works in conjunction with a range of other health professionals to help her patients get their best possible outcome. Clare has a keen interest in mind-body medicine, and uses acupuncture, meditation, breathing techniques, and self-empowering strategies with her patients to assist with recovery from their conditions. She is a certified Level II Yoga teacher, and uses skills and knowledge from this training to enhance her practice of Chinese Medicine.
Speaking nationally at academic conferences, and public events and local interest groups, Clare enjoys sharing her passion for healing with others. Clare is valued for her ability to integrate the approach between Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern scientific theories, her open hearted approach and generosity of knowledge, and for her ease in translating easefully between the two paradigms.
