Background
Dr Madhur Suri is an Australian trained General Practitioner (GP) who has completed her initial medical training (MBBS) from one of the leading hospitals in Mumbai, India. Dr Suri completed further training in General Practice in Australia and is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). She has also attained PG Diploma of Gerontology from La Trobe University, Melbourne. Dr Suri is a pregnancy and antenatal shared care affiliate with Geelong Hospital, Werribee Mercy hospital, Sunshine Hospital and the Royal Women’s Hospital and is a certified provider of focused psychological strategies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
She has previously practiced as a GP in Torquay and the surrounding surf coast community. She is highly skilled in all areas of General Practice, and she is passionate about providing holistic and preventive care to all her patients. While maintaining a broad interest in all aspects of General Practice, Dr Suri has interests in Nutritional & Environmental Medicine, Women’s and Children’s health and mental healthcare. She is particularly passionate about combining compassion-centred care with integrative medicine, to empower people to reclaim their health. Dr Suri is linguistically versatile and is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Marathi and Gujarati.
