Dr Ludek Mrazek

MD Paediatrics, Grad.Dip Integr.Med (Swin), GradDip NutrEnvironMed(Swin).

Ludek graduated in 1980 from Charles University, Prague (only Paediatric  faculty specialising in Paediatrics) with first class honours in Paediatrics.

Before coming to Australia in 1989 to gain overseas experience, he worked for 10 years as a paediatrician in general paediatrics, neonatal and oncology.

Ludek also worked as a Paediatrician in some of the most prestigious tertiary teaching Hospitals in Australia, including the Royal Children’s Hospital and Mercy Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, and the Royal Hobart Hospital and Launceston Hospital in Tasmania.

In 1999, Dr Mrazek joined the newly established Graduate School of Integrative Medicine GSIM) at Swinburne University in Melbourne, working as a Research Fellow and completing Postgraduate studies. In 2001 he was the first medical graduate to obtain a Diploma of Applied Science in Integrative Medicine and a Diploma in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.

Working as a lecturer in Integrative Paediatrics at GSIM after completing his postgraduate studies in Integrative Medicine, Ludek established RTM (thermography), and also became experienced in Live Blood Analysis as well as organising a research study to evaluate its use.

Ludek also established a research study to investigate the role of lifestyle, such as exercise, stress and diet, in determining the health of infants.

Although this study was delayed because of administrative problems, this was the first such study designed to investigate this important area in the early 1990’s.

On return to the Czech Republic, Dr Mrazek has worked in Paediatrics at two hospitals as well as spending time in London
