Background 

Eliza is a registered clinical psychologist with over 25 years in mental health. She first entered the field at the Mental Health Research Institute of Victoria where she worked for ten years, involved with the clinical components of several psychiatric research projects.  

This experience fostered a strong interest in mental health promotion, prevention and treatment, leading her to undertake further training in both Clinical and Health Psychology. She went on to work in public and private treatment settings and has worked for the last decade in private practice. Eliza works with clients using tailored evidence-based approaches to address the psychological, social and lifestyle factors of health and wellbeing.  

Therapy modalities include Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Positive Psychology with adolescents and adults.
